We are a varied people of the Northern Plains and the Rocky Mountains, members and friends of 33 congregations throughout Montana and northern  Wyoming.  We hope you search our web site and learn more about us and feel welcome to our faith community.

At a special called meeting of the Montana-Northern Wyoming Conference of the United Church of Christ on Saturday, March 31, 2012, the Rev. Dr. Marc Stewart was called to serve as the new Conference Minister beginning April 10.

Dr. Stewart received his education at University of New Hampshire, Fitchburg State College (Mass.), Andover Newton Theological School, United Theological College (India) and Christian Theological Seminary. His ministry has included pastorates in UCC congregations in Maine, Michigan and Virginia, as well as service as Associate and Acting Conference Minister in the South Dakota Conference, UCC.

Marc's family includes his wife, Cheryl, a high school Sparnish teacher and young adudlt sons Gabriel, Zach and Ezra. Gabriel lives in Philadelphia after graduating last year from Oberlin College with degrees in Music Technology and Environmental Science. Zach will graduate May 4 from Pomona College (Calif.) in Media Studies. He is also a successful business person dealing in music drums as "Counterhoops Vintage Drums." Ezra graduated from high school last fall and is writing a screen play.

In addition to music and the arts, the Stewart family enjoys camping, outdoors activities and travel. Marc has done a fair amount of home remodeling, and Cheryl enjoys gardening and canning.
